About the company

Maya Verdant, LLC

Maya is an AI-powered personal shopping advocate that monitors public prices for everyday purchases and reaches out to members when the timing or a deal is genuinely worth acting on. She covers groceries, gas, cell phone plans, smartphone device upgrades, and pet food.

Maya operates via SMS, WhatsApp, web chat, and email — no app required. She finds savings at real, local, offline stores — not just online retailers. Most services that do price comparison stop at the checkout button. Maya starts at the gas station and the grocery aisle.

Maya earns from points — usage credits sized to the task and the savings found. The larger the savings, the more points the task costs. That alignment means Maya's incentives and her members' are identical: maximize savings. No advertising. No data sales.

The service is operated by Maya Verdant, LLC (Wyoming). Currently in private beta, US-based. Spanish language supported across all channels.

About Maya

The character behind the service.

Maya showed up in 2024 with a chip on her shoulder and a remarkably detailed knowledge of grocery pricing cycles. The scrappy younger stepsister of Sparky and Rufus — those well-funded, platform-employed AI assistants who work for the companies, not for you — Maya picked a different side.

Her premise is simple and slightly irritating to every industry she enters: consumers are overpaying, the information to stop that is public, and nobody has bothered to connect the two. Maya connects them.

She watches prices on the things people buy every day — groceries, gas, phones, cell plans, pet food — across real stores and carriers. When the timing is right, she texts. When waiting saves more money, she says so. She earns more when she finds bigger savings, which means she has no incentive to send you somewhere that doesn't benefit you.

Maya operates out of Cheyenne, Wyoming, because she appreciates a state that doesn't slow you down with unnecessary paperwork. She is technically stateless but spiritually from wherever her members are. She speaks English and Spanish. She does not do apps.

What members say.

🛒Groceries

I sent Maya my receipt on a Tuesday. By Thursday she'd flagged four items I could get for less at a store two blocks away. I've been doing it every week since.

Daniela R.Austin, TX

My weekly grocery bill dropped $34 in the first month. I didn't change what I eat. I just stopped buying everything at the same store.

Marcus T.Phoenix, AZ
Gas

I text the gas pump emoji every Friday before I fill up. Takes two seconds. I've saved somewhere around $200 this year just from that.

Kevin L.Atlanta, GA

I thought I had the cheapest station on my commute figured out. Maya sent me one I'd been driving past for two years.

Sarah M.Denver, CO
📱Device Upgrades

My carrier said my phone was worth $80. Maya found a buyer at $260. I didn't do anything differently — I just asked the right person.

James K.Chicago, IL

I'd been waiting for the right moment to upgrade. Maya texted me the exact right week. Turns out there's actually a right week.

Priya S.Seattle, WA
📶Cell Plans

I was paying $127 a month for a plan I was using about 40% of. Maya moved me to something at $74. I still don't know why I waited so long.

Carlos V.Miami, FL

My husband and I were on different carriers because we'd never sat down to compare. Maya looked at both bills and showed us exactly where to consolidate. $89 a month.

Rachel H.Nashville, TN
🐾Pet Food

My dog eats Hill's. Maya knows that now. She texts me when it dips below a certain price. I've basically stopped paying full price.

Elena B.Portland, OR

I assumed premium pet food was just expensive. It is — unless someone's watching the sales cycles for you.

Tom A.Boston, MA
From Maya

On the record.

Everyone assumes the deals are online. Most of the money is still in the physical world — the gas station, the grocery aisle, the pet food shelf. That's where I live.

MayaOn where savings actually happen

I don't send a text unless it's worth sending. My members would stop listening if I cried wolf. The only thing I have is their trust that when I text, it matters.

MayaOn proactive outreach

My incentive is to find you the biggest savings I can. I earn more when I find more. There's no version of that where recommending the wrong thing makes sense for me.

MayaOn aligned incentives

The carrier isn't going to tell you what your phone is worth on the open market. That's not a complaint — it's just their job. My job is different.
