About 30% inside your market, plus brand campuses and occasional retailer visits

You live in this market, or you are in it on a regular cadence.

Role

You hold Maya's relationships with the consumer brands whose brand, shopper, trade and retail media teams sit in your market. You turn demand budgets those teams already hold into household programs: planned, funded, live, and closed with proof of performance.

This role is on the partnerships team. You work with the retailers and brands those households already shop.

Responsibilities

  • Own a book of brand partnerships from first meeting through flight close
  • Build annual and quarterly plans: objective, geography, duration, budget, per-unit ceiling and stop rules
  • Work the real budget owners: shopper marketing, trade marketing, revenue growth management and retail media
  • Control the fund the way a key account manager does: accrued against committed against spent, period-end balance, no overspend and no stranded money
  • Keep every program's authorization current: prior approval, spend authority and the documentation brand finance needs to release funds
  • Design offers a household can actually use and brand counsel can actually accept, without putting brand integrity at risk
  • Deliver analysis before and after each flight: cost per verified switch, incremental against base, and unpaid repeat once funding ends
  • Keep the brand's planning system current. Their promotion calendar is the calendar
  • Write quarterly business reviews a VP can take internally without a Maya explainer
  • Coordinate Maya's reporting so brand finance can encumber, reconcile and reclaim what goes unspent
  • Flag legal and policy limits, including store-conditional brand money and category restrictions such as alcohol, before a test is sold

Requirements

  • 4+ years as a consumer-goods key account, business account, shopper or retail-media manager, at a brand or at a national sales or shopper agency
  • You have managed a demand fund against a plan and closed a period without a surprise: accrued, committed, spent, reconciled
  • You can read a promotional P&L and a syndicated data pull
  • You write for brand finance as well as for brand marketing
  • Strong written updates. Short, specific, no deck for a status that needs a paragraph

Nice to have

  • Revenue growth management, or trade-promotion management tooling
  • Category experience that matches the market: center store, frozen, snacks, pet, household, beverage
  • Claims, deductions or fund-audit exposure
