Keep points in your account

Each billing cycle, discounted points deposit into your account. Use them before the next deposit lands... subscription points don’t roll over. You’re paying to keep Maya working for you, not to hoard points.

When you share prices, Maya scans them against what she already knows. New prices for your store go on the map for everyone... and you earn points. The denser the map near you, the faster Maya can help when you shop.

Straight answers

Is membership free?

There’s no fee to have a Maya account, and you get 300 points when you sign up. Everything Maya does for you costs points... sized to the savings she delivers. A gas report might be 99 points or more when the savings are big; adding one item to your list might be 1 point.

How do points work?

You tell Maya to do something; she does it; she charges points. Task work is predictable (often 1 pt per grocery ingredient). Savings work scales with what you saved... gas reports, cart optimizations, plan compares. More savings for you usually means more points for Maya. That’s fair: you want her hungry to find savings.

What about subscribe vs top-off?

Top-off: buy 500, 1,000, or 2,000 points anytime ($5 / $10 / $20). Subscribe: Basic deposits 1,000 pts/mo for $7.99 or Plus deposits 3,000 pts/mo for $19.99... you get more points per dollar than buying packs, not a separate discount on pack purchases. Use subscription points before the next deposit; see Membership Terms for expiry.

How does Maya make money?

Maya earns points... the greater the savings she finds for you, the more points she charges. Like a personal assistant who only eats when she saves you money. You buy points, subscribe for monthly deposits, or earn them by sharing prices and referring members. No store pays her to steer you.

What happens if I run out of points?

Maya stops working until you top off, subscribe, or earn more. No partial answers... if you’re out of points, there’s no analysis.

Where can I see typical charges?

We publish a rate card for common requests (lists, gas reports, and more). Savings-based work always ties the charge to what you saved... Maya shows your balance and the deduction after she delivers.
