ChatGPT needs a paragraph. Maya needs one character.
One tap. Maya gets it.
Hi, I'm Maya Verdant, your household buying assistant. I work for you, not the stores, so your household gets what it needs without waste or overpaying. I track gas, groceries, pet food, cell plans, and device upgrades over SMS and WhatsApp.
Text β½ and get the cheapest gas near you in seconds. Text π π² and get the lowest-cost split of your grocery list across nearby stores. No app. No typing. Maya already knows your preferences.
Send commands via SMS or WhatsApp to (888) 751-MAYA (6292), or through the chat widget on this site. All commands work on all three channels.
How commands work
These shortcuts work because Maya already knows your profile. Set it up once with π (under two minutes). After β½, Maya pauses and waits: if you send location, she uses it; if nothing is sent, home + your favorite stations. There is no β½ π. β½ πΈ logs a price; β½ β + photo compares near home (send location before β for βhereβ). Groceries work the same way.
New to Maya?
Start with π and Maya will walk you through setup in under two minutes. Once done, any command in this guide just works because Maya already knows your home address, vehicle, pets, and devices.
β½Gas
Tip: After β½, Maya waits: send location when you want βhereβ; if you send nothing before the wait ends, she uses home and your preferred stations. She only uses coordinates when you send them.
πGroceries
Maya uses a fresh-first frameβperimeter picks anchor your plan; center-store lines can flex. Smart swaps surface store or club labels next to national brands when the match is credible. You choose every line; nothing is automatic at checkout.
Tip: Cold start list add is two emoji only: πβ, then your next message can be a barcode, name, or photo. Mid-flow you can still use β with a pasted UPC. To log a receipt, photograph it and send. For shelf prices, send a photo with the tag visibleβno emoji required.
π·Wine
Wine follows the same shopper math as the rest of your cart: most people compare before they shop, private-brand lanes are winning trips, and promotion fatigue is real. SVBβs 2026 wine outlook plus AlixPartnersβ 2026 grocery shopper survey both point to cross-channel, shelf-level disciplineβexactly what Maya automates by text.
Tip: SVB 2026: uneven discounting, oversupply, and fast private-label growth at major retailers. AlixPartners 2026: ~65% of shoppers compare prices before trips; private brand increasingly drives store choiceβwine benefits when Maya compares channels for you. Specs: development/actions/wine/.
πΊBeer
Beer uses the same grocery-class shelf math as wine and spiritsβcompare before you shop, watch promo vs. everyday price, and let Maya sweep nearby retailers for your watchlist.
π₯Spirits
Spirits follow the same grocery-class flows as wine and beerβwatchlist, shelf-price sweeps, and smart retailer picks without a separate app.
πΎPet Food
Tip: If you have multiple pets, πΎ shows all of them. Add a name to focus on one, e.g. πΎ π² Luna.
π±Devices
Tip: Devices are not part of the pause-and-wait location prime flow (no wait-for-location for π±). Inventory and upgrades run immediately.
π²Cell Phone Plans
Forward one email. Get a full plan comparison. Email your bill to [email protected] with π² (or π) in the subject or body β Maya reads the PDF and finds every viable alternative for your actual usage automatically.
Tip: Most members email their bill. MMS attachments work too but PDFs are easier to parse and give more accurate results.
