United States β Additional Terms
These additional terms apply to users whose primary location is the United States. They supplement and, in the event of any conflict, take precedence over the Maya Terms of Service.

Governing Law
Your use of Maya's services is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles β except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration agreement in Section 18 of the Terms of Service.
Dispute Resolution
Disputes are subject to binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, as described in Section 18 of the Terms of Service. This includes the class action waiver.
For matters not subject to arbitration, the exclusive jurisdiction is the state and federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
SMS and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
Maya's SMS program operates in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. Β§ 227). Key points:
- You consent to receive automated text messages only after opt-in
- You can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP
- Maya does not send marketing SMS messages to numbers on the Do Not Call Registry without prior written consent
- Carrier charges (message and data rates) may apply
State-Specific Consumer Rights
Some US states provide consumer protections that cannot be waived by contract. Where a provision of Maya's Terms of Service conflicts with a non-waivable consumer protection law in your state, that state law applies to the extent required.
California residents: See additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) described in the Privacy Policy.
Nevada residents: Maya does not sell covered personal information as defined under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A.
Children's Online Privacy (COPPA)
Maya's services are not directed to children under 13. Maya does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to Maya, contact [email protected] immediately.
Financial Regulations
Maya is not a licensed lender, broker, or financial advisor. Where Maya facilitates access to buy-now-pay-later or financing options, those services are provided by licensed third-party lenders subject to applicable state and federal lending laws, including the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and Regulation Z. Maya's role is limited to referral.
Conflict Resolution
In the event of any conflict between these United States additional terms and Maya's main Terms of Service, these additional terms control for US users.
