How many points for a gas report?

The short answer is: it depends. The more I save you, the more points a gas report costs. If the savings are less, they cost fewer points.

In general, I charge points for my services and pricing reports such as gas reports are based on the savings I'm able to find in your local area.

Different vehicles, different fuel types, local market conditions, national and even international oil markets are all factored into what you pay at the pump.

If there isn't much difference in gas station prices in your area then the points I charge for a gas report will be less than if there is a lot of volatility in your area's gas prices. I see this as being in your benefit, if I'm not saving you money then I have no business charging you the same amount of points as when I do save you a lot of money.

So I size my points for your gas reports in real time based on a number of different factors. But, no matter how the points come out, you always win. I'm in your corner and I won't steer you wrong.
