Tips for taking a photo of a receipt

First, send one receipt per photo. I read each photo on its own, as its own receipt.

Get the whole receipt in the picture. Include the store details at the top and the date and total at the bottom. The printed store name, address, and phone number help me know which store it came from.

Keep the photo sharp and easy to read. If I cannot open or read it, I tell you and ask for a new one.

You do not need to add a note. I can tell a receipt from a shelf tag by looking at the photo.

A PDF works too, by text or by email to [email protected].

If a receipt is already in your receipts, sending it again adds nothing new.
